James Carney Architects Ltd is a design-led architectural RIBA Chartered Practice based in Kent.

Our recent re-branding of this established architectural practice in 2018 marked both a change in direction and approach.

The practice specialises in ideas rather than building type to help evolve our vision for a more joyful, meaningful and sustainable architecture.

We cover all RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0-7 from feasibility through planning to construction and completion.

We work across all types and scales of projects from small domestic work to larger commercial projects. All are carried out to the highest standards incorporating creative design solutions tailored to our clients’ needs through a collaborative approach to each project.
