James Carney Architects (JCA) are a small architectural practice specialising in residential projects of all scales and small commercial/educational developments throughout Kent, South London and the South East.

We are an RIBA Chartered Practice with over 20 years of experience in the architectural profession and are based in South Darenth, Sevenoaks in Kent. Our practice covers all RIBA Plan of Work Stages 0-7 from feasibility through all planning applications types to building regulations and construction on site.

Our architectural work incorporates all types of design and scale of project where each is treated individually in terms of approach and carried out to the highest standards with a close personal involvement in the design process. This allows us to tailor our designs and work flexibly between our residential extensions and refurbishments through to our commercial developments.

JCA was established by James Carney in 2015 after the restructuring of the former practice BTH Consulting.
